The Powerball Lottery is an American lottery game that is available in 45 states and the District of Columbia. It is also available in the US Virgin Islands. It is coordinated by the State Lottery Association, a nonprofit organization formed by a coalition of US corporations and lobbyists.

California Lottery

California Lottery is a state-sponsored lottery that has operated in the state since 1984. Part of the revenues generated from the lottery go to public education in California. It has so far contributed $30.9 billion to schools and universities in the state. To play the lottery, players must purchase a ticket from an authorized retailer. New Hampshire Lottery

Pennsylvania Lottery

The Pennsylvania Lottery is a state-run lottery. It was founded by the Pennsylvania General Assembly on August 26, 1971. Its first executive director was Henry Kaplan.

New York Lottery

The New York Lottery is a government-run lottery with headquarters in Schenectady. It has been around since 1967 and provides revenue for public education. To play, players must be at least 18 years old. Winnings are subject to state and federal income taxes and, if you live in the city, additional city income taxes.
